Enhanced Intimacy

Have you noticed that your sexual experiences have become a bit more challenging over time? While you may not have major erectile issues and can still enjoy satisfying intimacy, you might be looking to regain that sense of vitality and confidence from your younger days.

Many men encounter changes in their sexual health as they age, but there is support available.

 Reclaiming Your Intimacy

MansMatters was the first clinic in the UK to introduce advanced treatments such as Extracorporeal Focused Shockwave Therapy and Electromagnetic Transduction Therapy (EMTT). These innovative therapies aim to support the natural process of achieving and maintaining an erection by encouraging healthy blood flow and promoting nerve health. This may lead to the potential for enhanced arousal and firmer, more consistent erections when desired

What causes sexual prowess to decline?

For a man to achieve an erection, up to twenty times more blood flows into the penis through blood vessels, which are then constricted by a complex system of valves. This process results in a firm erection. However, as we age, some blood vessels can become blocked, deteriorate, or sustain damage, leading to a reduced volume of blood reaching the penis over time.

This gradual decline can result in erections that are not as firm or effective as they once were, diminishing the excitement of arousal. You may also find yourself concerned about a potential further decline in your sexual ability in the future.

While tablets often referred to as “little blue pills” work by widening blood vessels to allow more blood to flow into the penis, their effects are temporary. They do not repair or enhance blood vessels or nerve tissues. Over time, the body's response can diminish, which may lead to further sexual challenges and erectile dysfunction.

How Shockwave Therapy Works

Extracorporeal Focused Shockwave Therapy employs sound waves that travel at 1,500 metres per second to target blood vessels effectively. This painless treatment induces a minor trauma that not only clears blockages within the blood vessels but also stimulates their growth, facilitating increased blood flow to the penis.

A helpful analogy is weight training: just as weight training causes minor trauma to muscles, leading to increased muscle size and strength, shockwave therapy promotes the health and function of blood vessels.

The therapy also enhances nerve tissue, which can result in more sustainable erections. It can create effects similar to the first time you took Viagra, but with more permanent results and without the need for pills before sexual activity.

This technology has been used by the NHS since the 1980s to treat kidney stones and other conditions. However, it has only recently been established as an effective treatment for enhancing sexual health. MansMatters was the first clinic in the UK to introduce this treatment in 2013, and since then, we have successfully assisted thousands of men in regaining their sexual vitality.
